Michał started his adventure with sport in 2000 as a twelve-year-old at the Shotokan Karate club in Łódź, where he was training for two years. Over the next years, he was looking for his place in various team sports and disciplines. In 2009, he began training Krav Maga at the Krav Maga Institute in Łódź. He spent the first two years under the supervision of Jacek Walczak (currently Expert 4 KMG), and the next two years under the supervision of Mariusz Jasiński (currently Expert 3 IKMF), Grzegorz Witkowski (currently Expert 4 UKM) and Karolina Kowalkiewicz (UFC player). From 2013 to 2019 he was training under the eye of Mateusz Orczykowski (now ITS). In the meantime, he was mastering his fighting technique by training boxing and K1 in sports clubs in Łódź. In 2016, he completed the Krav Maga International Krav Maga Federation Civil Instructor course in Toruń. In 2018, he completed the Civil Krav Maga Instructor and Law Enforcement Instructor courses, and received the Israeli Tactical School Black Belt in Deventer, the Netherlands. Over the years, he has participated in countless courses and seminars conducted by world leading experts in the field of Krav Maga, VIP protection, hand-to-hand combat and tactical shooting. He is also a Physical Recreation Instructor with a specialization in Self-Defense.
Since 2019, he co-creates the School of Krav Maga and Self-Defense Collegium Krav Maga. On a daily basis, he conducts personal training, training for the advanced group in Łódź, training for private groups (including foreign-language groups), self-defense training for companies, and thematic Krav Maga seminars. He has also experience in teaching self-defense for women.
